Description: TRACY, CA- LETTIE ORDONE, LCSW ANNOUNCED TODAY THAT A 10 WEEK SERIES OF PARENT PROJECT TRAINING WILL BEGIN IN JANUARY 22, 2013. THE PARENT PROJECT WHOSE MISSION IS TO DEVELOP PARENT-TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR PARENTS RAISING DIFFICULT OR OUT-OF-CONTROL CHILDREN. THE PARENT PROJECT IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PROGRAMS THAT ARE AFFORDABLE FOR EVERY PARENT. The Parent Project is now the largest court mandated juvenile diversion program in the country and for agencies, the least expensive intervention program available today. The Parent Project is so much more than just a parent-training program. Using the UCLA parent self-help support group model, the Parent Project offers parents on-going practical and emotional support for as long as they need it. If your agency deals with truancy, dropouts, drug use, early teen sexuality, violence, youth gangs, or runaways, the Parent Project is the right call. The sessions are open and free to the public. A $10 registration fee is required to hold your seat. The classes will begin promptly 6:30 PM beginning January 22, 2013 at the Tracy Transit Station, Room 105. Space is limited.
