TheMantecaResponse: I am with you, reality is hard enough to deal with, and then to promote in the paper spirits and predictions of the future.
I agree that a local paper should not be promoting fantasy and the hope that the future can be foretold. I am totally against the religious section in the paper, and holding out promise that spirits have come to give us predictions of our life based on our believing these fantasies.
Tarot cards, bibles, voodoo, Ouija boards, Wiccan, Gods, angels, black magic, all of these are for those who can not deal with reality. Why should this be in our local paper?
What ever happened to freedom of speech? TheSovereign seems to think that religous beliefs are not to be voiced or shared, but I would bet my next paycheck that if it were some muslim or athiest "reality" that was being reported, the tables would be turned and TheSovereign would be absolutely up in arms if any criticism were noted to those beliefs.
The freedom of religion and speech is one of the few admiral rights left in the US, please don't try to stifle it because you're reality differs from others.
