Take Me To Post Comment Form Wow it has been a long day! My shopping is done, so I have my final numbers. Unfortunately, I went over budget by $11.81!! There are two reasons for this, and take note...
1)I brought my kids with me! They had dentist's appointments this morning in Modesto, so they had to accompany me to Winco.
2)I didn't have time to make a list! Just the one running around in my head! And you know how I told you that will go.
On the bright side, where I blew my budget was in the produce section of all places! Perhaps it was the 17 pound watermelon my kids begged for? Or all the extra fruit they just "had to have" this week? Well, if you're gonna blow your budget, better for it to be on veggies and fruit! I can feel good about that! Onto my results...

Well, I may have gone over budget, but I have the makings for a wonderful fruit salad! yum! :)

Here's another fun budget tip. You know those fun little cash cards you get in the mail from time to time from stores like Kohls or JCPenny? They are usually for $10 value. Use your gift card in the clearance section and score some awesome deals! Right now most stores are clearing out all the summer clothing and bringing in the new stuff for Fall, so it's a great time to find a little something new, and you may even leave the store paying little to nothing! But watch those expiration dates!
Also, they say Thursdays are the best day to shop because that's when most stores add their new clearance items to the rack. So get shopping!
