The Most Popular Cosmetic Surgeries for Women

Take Me To Post Comment Form

Overview

The most popular cosmetic surgeries for women these days include liposuction, breast augmentation, tummy tuck, breast lift, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, facelift and, dermabrasion. Recovery times may vary for each of these popular cosmetic surgeries. Let us now check out the details of each of the popular cosmetic surgeries for women.

Liposuction

As it is already New Year 2017, it is no secret that America is an overweight country and so women are extra conscious about their weight. Not every patient undergoing this surgery is overweight but lipo is still one of the most common cosmetic surgeries for women.

Lipoplasty or liposuction is sometimes also called as body sculpting which is a way to remove the stubborn pockets of fat such as saddle bags and love handles which don’t conform to your ideal body image. This is a suction assisted surgery to remove the fat from different areas all over the body such as the thighs, back, arms and even your neck. The surgeon will simply vacuum out the fat through a small incision. Afterward there will be bruising, swelling and perhaps some numbness in the area you had suctioned. You may feel well enough to go back to work a few days post operation depending on how much fat was removed.

Breast Augmentation

The most common cosmetic surgery for women is the breast augmentation or the boob job. It is a surgical procedure to increase the volume and size of the patient’s breast or improve the overall shape. Be it a 50 year old priss gasping for a sense of worth or someone such as Megan Fox making modest jump from an A-cup to a C-cup, those are just two of the 279,143 women who have got their breast augmentation in the previous year.

Tummy Tuck

If you are not happy with your gym results, do not panic! Flattening your stomach is always pretty much harder than you expect. Hence it is no surprise than 123,083 women underwent the tummy tuck procedure in the year 2016. This surgery removes all the extra fat and skin around your abdomen while tightening the muscles in that area to provide women with flatter stomachs.

Breast Lift

Usually the breast lift are simple procedures done by women to get it if their boobs become too saggy, old looking or uneven and for many other reasons such as having droopy nipples. Most times, these are accompanied by breast augmentations and reductions. Breast lifts are quite common for women. As per the reports, there were 99,614 women who got their procedures in 2016.

Eyelid Surgery

The eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty reshapes the eyelids and removes the bagginess as well as tighten the lose skin around the eyelids. But it doesn’t remove fine wrinkle lines. You’ll have some swelling and bruising afterward which doesn’t go down for a week or two. But the bruises usually go away in a week to ten days. Your vision may be blurry for days post surgery and you may tear up easily or have dry eyes. The cost of surgery will vary as per the surgeon you choose and the amount of reshaping required.
Of course, these aren’t the only cosmetic surgeries for women as they also get rhinoplasty, chin augmentation, facelift, arm lifts and dermabrasion. Ever since Kylie Jenner, Kim’s younger sister has entered the scene, lip augmentations have also become increasingly popular cosmetic surgeries for women. Remember, it’s important to love yourself and love the way you look as it’s your body and in the end ensure that you make your decision for yourself.
