TURLOCK - Massive chicken deaths maybe the result of an uprising which began around two weeks ago. According to reports coming in from the Roosters News Agency a watchdog group known as pro-poultry leftist, the uprising began when rumors that Andy Cheng also known as the "Chicken King" recently signed a contract with the American Pot Pie Corporation to sell all non egg producing hens to be used as meat for the pot pies and frozen chicken nuggets.
What started out as a friendly protest against the mistreatment of egg laying hens in one chicken shed lead to the bloody violent uprising after the Chicken King grabbed an ax and began filling his quota of chicken hens to be sent to the American Pot Pie Corporation.
Ronald Mc Donald, CEO for the King Fried Corporation (KFC)while speaking to reporters on Monday said " This mass kill off of chicken hens will not halt or slow down our production of chicken nuggets. Mr. King's contract specified we wanted leaner, less fat, organic chicken meat, I am appalled that these local government officials are euthanizing these chickens and stopping Mr.King from making enormous profits when Mr. king could have sold those chickens to us, 50,000 chickens makes a lot of frozen nuggets and pot pies."
No word from PETA yet on the massive kill off. Ivan Gorbachev a Protester from the Occupy Wall Street crowd has issued a response in saying "This is just another example of Capitalism out of control, Capitalist Americans fascination with chicken nuggets caused all of this"
OWS plans to camp out at the chicken ranch to protest the mistreatment of chicken hens.
Thousands of hens dead at Stanislaus County farm
By John Holland
An estimated 50,000 hens were left without feed at a Carpenter Road egg farm over about two weeks, officials said today.
About a third of the hens have died, and the rest are being euthanized because of their poor condition, said Annette Patton, executive director of the Stanislaus Animal Services Agency.
