I've gotten that same message numerous times while posting nothing offensive. I have no idea what "The words "n-l" are not allowed here" means. It would be nice to get an explaination from MB.

What is really a pain is having to read your own letter numerous times in order to find the word with the N-L so I can put an asterisk between the two letters.

The good part is that it forces me to read the letter numerous times, so at least I am proof reading what I write.

I have had the same problem with blog, and comments ,I will go over and over and sometimes I find it,sometimes I don't
The other day it was "t-t" it took me forever to figure out that this was located in a link I was trying to post in my comment, how could I change a link to accommodate the Bulletin rules would not be possible,a link is not something you can change, then it no longer is a valid link.So I just gave the name of the website that someone could visit if wanted.
The link included state*department*watch ,maybe its all the t's I don't know.

"state*department*watch" - Such a potty mouth!

This had never happened to me before until I wrote a super long response to someone's blog and the "no N-L" warning appeared. It took me FOREVER to find the words that had the offending combination. What a pain! I really don't get the problem, but if they (Bulletin on-line moderators) have to ban a certain combination of letters, at least they should highlight the offending words in the posting for us. This would make it so much easier to come up with an appropriate substitute word, rather than a frustrating process of re-reading one's own comments numerous times in a "Where's Waldo" hunt for the banned letter sequence. Cardinal, inalienable, and knoll are just a few banned examples. Sincerely, Karen

Okay everyone, why did the word combination in my above post make it through without the warning and inability to post my comments? Now I am thoroughly confused. Is this "rule" only enforced part of the time or selectively? Bemusedly, Karen

Hi Karen
You know I've notice that sometimes words that are not allowed won't make it through, then on another time it will,so it beats me.
Your description of checking our comments and blogs liken to a "Where's Waldo" hunt is hilarious (maybe not so much when we are on the hunt tho)
Like Sovereign I do like the way it makes me proof read more, but as you suggested it would be nice if the program would be precise and simply show us what is our offending words.
It can get frustrating,it just must be that it is still a work in progress, maybe it will get better with time.

It looks like the local tea baggers heard another "non partisan" talk from a right wing nut. Maybe he passed a petition around to the tea partiers to make a state law similar to Florida's. So that paranoid gun nuts can murder black teenagers who appear to be a threat.
